Ambassador Terms

1. Acceptance

These Ambassador Terms govern your participation in the Resiide Ambassador Program (the "Program"), operated by Resiide Technologies ("Resiide", "we", "us"). By registering as an Ambassador, or by accepting a referral code, link, or commission payout under the Program, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may hold only one Ambassador account. Self-referral — attributing your own Landlord account, or one you control, to yourself — is not permitted and is blocked automatically by the platform. Resiide employees and contractors are not eligible to participate.

3. How Attribution Works

Sharing your unique referral link is how a Landlord becomes attributed to you. If a prospective Landlord visits Resiide through your link and creates an account within 30 days, that Landlord is locked to you permanently — attribution cannot later be reassigned, disputed, or overridden by a different referral code. If 30 days pass with no signup, that click's attribution opportunity expires and a fresh visit is required.

4. The Free Trial — No Commission During Trial

Every new Landlord, referred or not, starts on a free trial. No commission accrues on any activity during a Referred Landlord's free trial, even though tenants may be paying real rent through the platform during that period. You begin earning only once that Landlord has moved past their trial.

5. The Commission Window

For each Referral, your commission-earning window opens on the earliest of: the Landlord's free trial ending (by time or by usage limit), Resiide manually converting that Landlord to paid status, or 45 days after the Referral was created — whichever happens first. Once opened, the window stays open for exactly three (3) months, then closes permanently for that Referral. No further commission accrues on that Landlord after the window closes, even if they remain a paying Resiide customer indefinitely. Attribution under Section 3 is permanent; the right to earn commission on it is not.

6. Commission Rate

Your commission rate depends on the Referred Landlord's own monthly transaction volume, re-evaluated on every individual payment — not on your cumulative earnings from that Landlord:

This rate applies to the gross value of each rent payment collected by the Landlord's tenants, and to the Landlord's flat monthly Resiide subscription fee, for every Qualifying Transaction within the open commission window described in Section 5.

7. Payouts

Eligible commission becomes part of your available balance immediately — there is no manual approval step. You may request payout at any time, self-service, to a Zambian Mobile Money wallet or bank account, subject only to a real, pass-through transfer fee charged by our payment processor (typically ZMW 8.50–35.00 depending on amount and method). We do not impose a minimum or maximum payout amount beyond the requirement that the amount you receive after the transfer fee be greater than zero. Payouts are processed immediately on request.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your Ambassador account at any time. Doing so immediately and irreversibly forfeits any unpaid (eligible) commission balance to Resiide; commission already paid out to you beforehand is unaffected. Deletion also deactivates your referral code, ending your session.

9. Suspension and Fraud

We may suspend or deactivate your account for breach of these terms, fraudulent or manipulative referral activity, attempted self-referral, or abuse of the platform. Deactivation stops future commission accrual immediately. Where fraud, self-dealing, or fake accounts are established, we reserve the right to withhold or cancel pending commission and to reclaim commission already paid to you — including by offsetting it against any future balance or pursuing recovery through the courts. The platform does not automatically reverse a completed payout; this is a contractual right we may exercise directly against you.

10. Independent Status and Taxes

You participate in the Program as an independent participant, not as an employee, agent, or partner of Resiide. You are solely responsible for any tax owed on commission income under applicable law; Resiide does not withhold tax from your payouts.

11. Confidentiality and Use of Our Name

Any non-public data about Referred Landlords visible on your Ambassador dashboard is confidential and may only be used to participate in the Program. You may use Resiide's name and marketing materials solely to promote the Program, in line with any guidelines we provide, and may not represent the Program as guaranteeing any level of income.

12. No Guarantee of Income

The Program is performance-based. We make no guarantee about how many Landlords you will refer, whether they will convert to paying customers, or how much commission you will earn.

13. Changes and Termination

We may update these terms, the commission rates in Section 6, or the commission window in Section 5 at any time, effective for future Qualifying Transactions only — commission already eligible or paid is never reduced retroactively. We'll notify active Ambassadors of material changes by email or in-app notice. Either party may end this arrangement at any time; where we terminate your account without cause, we'll provide at least 14 days' notice.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
